I know this might sound silly, but I truly feel ~Different~
Changed Every time I photograph the sky. It is as though for a few brief, fleeting moments just after the sun sets I am fulfilled... As though man and nature are one, in complete synchronized harmony. This is what it means to be different. To have the time to notice the beauty in everything, to bring your own unique perspective and to share it with the world.
I absolutely adore this shot and I completely agree with your description. This shot precisely captures and conveys what you wish to deliver to your viewers. I love your use of colours and contrast for this work. Very bright yet dark and significantly empowering.
The downside to this marvelous piece, however lies within the focus of your clouds. The clouds in the centre are precisely more focused than the clouds on the outside. I'm not too particularly certain if this an entirely negative thing, however for as sharp as the rest of the photo is, I think having all of the clouds perfectly in focus would be a great advantage. I suggest when shooting clouds, make sure to reset your shutter speed in order to get a better focus of what you're shooting, in this case clouds. I think your exposure may be too fast for how clouds move naturally, which is why they come out a little blurry.
Also, while your depth of field and perspective is truly dynamic, I feel the bottom half of the image could have been cropped. Given how much lighter it is compared to the rest of the photo, it's a little distracting. When viewed in full size, it is the first area that my attention is directed to. Personally, the clouds and the horizon should be the main focus; as the viewer, I shouldn't even be worried about what's at the bottom.
Other than these little flaws that can easily be corrected, this is probably one of my favourite pieces from you. Well done!
Hi, I just wanted to let you know that I featured your amazing sky shot on my women's global community website. I've given you full credit and a link at the top. If you have any objections, please let me know.
Wow, this is absolutely gorgeous but it's a little confusing to look at. I mean, there's the foreground in front of you, lit up like you used a flash, but then there's the lights of the city or whatever it is in the background...
I mean, I guess I've analyzed it for a minute so I get it now (sorta) but it doesn't instantly click with me... but anyways, great shot
I really hate to say this, but I can't actually accept this entry, as it was submitted to dA before the start of the contest. If you have anything else you'd like to submit (something slightly newer), that would be excellent
Either way, this is a stunning shot with some truly beautiful rich colors!
