The clear liquid slips down your throat and you fall into a deep slumber. Your dream is clearer than any you have ever had before, in two ways. You are floating in nothingness, it is not black, not white, not grey it is merely a transparence which stretches on to eternity without meeting any colour. There is light however, you can see, or you think you can see. You bring a hand up to your face, it is there yet slightly transparent itself.
You begin moving through the dream, you can't tell how you are moving, nor is there really any sensation of movement or reference points to measure your movement on. Yet you are moving, or so the dream tells you. There is another figure before you, almost completely faded, and you almost go through her. You can clearly see her expression of slow motion fear as she looks at her hand. A previous visitor to the dream. In sudden fear you look at your own hand, it is even more transparent than before. What will happen when you fade completely? Will you wake? Or will you remain, part of the invisible medium of the dream?
