I am very impressed with this. The subject has a natural effect, and the main feature, the spraling part of the plant, gives intrigue and is the main visual attraction of the picture. The photo has very high-definition quality, and a clear view. the background is blurred in a way that brings out the plant more, bringing it more attention. Another good feature.
I will put originality low. You know why? Uniqueness is at it's high in your photo. Whimsical, and creative. A nice resource to convey the beauty of nature! And a special choice as well. It is more than original, it has it's own tint. So when i mark low for originality, it's because of your unique choice and preference!

When I first saw this picture, my eyes went directly to the spiral. Why? Because the spiral is:

*out in direct view of the viewers of the picture, positioned in the center for quick attention to it.

*separated from the background.

*a brighter green than most other greens consisted in the photo

* color and quality pushes it far in front of background, another factor of visual attention.

Very well done! You have excellent technique and resource for skill. I would enjoy to see you keep up your work as a photographer!
