Yesterday was such a strange day I felt so oddly connected to myself And aware of the world around me It seemed to offer such deep insight As though we both equally shared Our own unique place in the universe. Yet still, I wondered if the sky I was seeing Was real. For how could something so magnificent Exist in tangent with something so devastating and destructive?
Firstly, the colour range in this piece of photography are almost mouth watering. There are different shades of purple, pink, orange, yello, peach, blue and almost black. The mixture of the colours listed is amazing. You must have a very advanced camera to have taken a snapshot this excellent.
Secondly, people may think this is a perfect piece of imagery. Everyone and everything has room for improvement. If I had to be picky on something, the angle of the snapshot would be changed if I were holding the camera. I could understand if you had a shaky hand or anything else for that matter. I would have maybe lowered the camera a little to get more of the shadow of the trees for a better shot.
Finally, I am glad you have requested critique because I have never done one before as I am fairly new to this proccess. I am glad you have provided the option of rating the vision, originality, technique and impact so I can rate to this photo by my opinion.
Overall, it is a technical photo and a very good piece of imagery but there is always room for improvement.
I can understand when you say you feel so connected to the world around. I too have those feelings sometimes. This picture describes so well and shows the beauty that our world has that some people don't seem to notice. You surly got the take in a perfect timeing. I have nothing bad to write about, truely magnificent. It's true that a picture is worth more then a thousand words and this photo is a great example.
Vison: Almost feels like I'm floating with the clouds. Nice and relaxing. Perfect take.
Originality: There are a few photo's of the sky around, but this one is different. You see more color then usual and that's a plus.
Technique: You seriously caught on a good timing to take this and having the silhouette looking ground, that is just wow.
Impact: I always think the impact a painting or photo has on a person is important. With this evening shot you can really make someone feel good that the day has ended and it leaves a pretty painting behind.
